Lian Siah Fishery

Lian Siah Fishery
Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor

Love this factory. It is KEROPOK HAVEN here! Watching them make the keropok right in the factory was just lovely. They are friendly too.
Love their keropok. Crispy, light and very flavorful. They have a good variety of keropok. Prawn. Variety of fish. Veggies.

That’s the pisang goreng stall, with the blue canopy, right in front of the corner kopitiam. Kept driving here for their freshly fried bananas until now jadi good friends. They are from Tawau so we have plenty to chat sbout!

Boss Agong
Very friendly. Very funny man. He speaks Chinese too.

Kak Arni, Agong’s cousin sister.

Agong’s wife is on the left.

Small family business but omg so crowded especially during weekends or when there’s events at the nearby temples in Jenjarom.

Market Minggu

Market Minggu
Taman Botani Negara
Shah Alam

It’s been so many years since the last time we were at TBNSH. Think it was about 10 years maybe! We were there with a student group,m; everyone enthusiastically ready to conquer Skytrax!!!
So, it was good to revisit this park.
Entrance was RM3 for adult, RM1 for senior.
As there was a mini market, we came to look see at that too.

Met a young couple from Terengganu. Preggy wife. Toddler. Friendly husband. They were selling fruit juice, which saved my life in that crazy hot weather!!!
I was intrigued with a local named Tuan for a lady. So we chatted. They are such a hardworking couple. Salute!

There’s a small zoo here but entrance fee is RM25, which was expensive to me, seeing the condition. So we just walked outside towards the adventure section.

UMAC House

UMAC House
(Universiti Malaya Academic Club)
It is now a Sri Lankan restaurant. Pretty reasonable priced dishes, huge portion and tasty.

Brinjal chips

Vegetarian varuval

Briyani with Mutton

Sri Lankan Lamprais

Abandoned Bungalows

Section 12 Petaling Jaya
The whole road in front of UMAC House.
Why?
Such beautiful houses. What a waste!
Could have turned this street into a foodie street, each house serving different cuisines.
Heard that it’s been abandoned for yearsssss and the houses are just left like that.

Mokti’s Ayam Gepuk Gelato

Mokti’s Malaysia is from Perlis.
They started their ice cream business with Gula Apong.
I first knew about them last year when I bought their ice cream in their mini containers which I loved. Thereafter, only realized, they are active mainly in Perlis and northern areas. I just had to wait patiently for a huge event in KL then I would surely see them.
They are at the Mega Karnival 3D, at MITEC.
Featuring their unique Ayam Gepuk GELATO!
Spicy.
This time, I borong their ice creams home, with much happiness and contentment. The staff could not help giggling at me.
