Si Hai Long Wang Temple (4 Dragon King Temple), Batu Pahat, 1981
As Batu Pahat is a Chinese-majority district, this temple is very popular among the worshippers. This is not a typical Chinese temple as there are many deities under this roof. Worshippers have been generously donating for every deity here all these years.
In Chinese mythology, the Dragon King "Long Wang" is a guardian deity who is the God of the Sea. He controls the sea creatures, the waters and the weather.

This is a new deity of Hai Long Wang (Dragon King). The temple is requesting for RM688 from each person who likes to donate. Once this chart is filled up, the deity will be uncovered and lifted to its own place in this temple. This is how each deity in this temple is being supported by the worshippers.
I thought this temple was situated at a really nice location, just by the Batu Pahat River.
