International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilization (ISTAC - IIUM)
Founded in 1987 by Royal Professor Laureate Tan Sri Dr Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas; a Malaysian Muslim Philosopher.
ISTAC’s architecture was inspired by the famous Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain.
A serene library sits here together with
a beautiful Conviviencia Cafe that serves Iranian, Persian and Mediterranean cuisines.
