My favorite view of Changshou right outside the metro station, Exit 2
Changshou is where we go if we need to visit an Aldi! Closest to us and just a straight metro ride from our end. So this time, we decided to walk to the Jade Buddha Temple.
Cute pigeon house
As it was a super sunny day, we were drenched right through even after a 10 min walk from metro to temple. Not complaining as I prefer the sun over rain!

Jade Buddha Temple
玉佛禅寺
Founded in 1882.
Surprisingly, it is a huge complex, off Jiangning Road in Changshou. It is a working Buddhist monastery. There are 2 white Jade Buddhas housed here; believed to have been carved out from a single slab of Burmese Jade. There is a sleeping Buddha and a bejewelled sitting Buddha. The bejewelled Buddha is located in a protected building where photographs are not allowed. There are also many ancient relics sitting on the grounds around the temple.
