Selangor Agrofest 2025

I am glad I went.

Although I hated the rain as ground was wet and small puddles everywhere, it was a good visit. Messed the whole place up. Lucky this Dataran Karnival, Shah Alam is spacious and lots of parking. Or else more grumbles!!!

Today last day so die die must go. I just love visiting all these kinda markets where you get local fruits, vegetables and products. 

In such a big scale, organizers are usually pretty good and fill the days with activities

Putrajaya Parks Day @ Taman Botani Putrajaya

WOW! The sambutan was great! The cars were melambak along the roadside, up the hill, around the corner!

They had a 7am run so maybe that’s why it was extra crowded. Nevertheless, it was fun. Full of activities. People’s market was there too. So lots of food and drinks. Agro Madani was there as well so lots of fruits and veggies. 

It’s been awhile since I last visited. So I was plesantly surprised to find a new Laman Anggerik (Orchid garden ). So nicely maintained and cared for. 

 

Kek Look Tong Destroyed?

The beautiful Kek Look Tong, Ipoh

I visited this cave a few times and had brought friends to admire it. Beautiful cave and structure. Plus, it has a huge zen garden at the back of the cave. Very well maintained back then.

I suddenly came across a video and read some articles that it was destroyed since Oct 2024 and Jan 2025. I’m not sure what exactly happened but some said it was effects from blasts of the quarries behind the cave. 

Photos below are from a video someone posted in FB… of the condition of the cave now. So sad. 

In Google, it’s states “Permanently Closed”.

I hope they will rebuild and repair, if possible. 

One of the nicest and grandest cave with a zen garden in Ipoh.
