Ayam Gepuk

My very own Ayam Gepuk!

This year I have not visited any Bazaar Ramadans. I used to be very excited to visit, especially the “longest” ones, “biggest” ones … just any one that’s massive.
Checking in TT, these particular bazaars seemed scary this year. Over crowded. And the horror stories posted by unfortunate consumers were terrifying. Prices are ridiculous too. I believe these bazaars act more like food festivals nowadays.
Best of luck to the vendors but I surrender!!!

Chap Goh Meh 2026

I was Petaling Street on Chap Goh Meh 2026.
Oloiya always organized the last day of CNY on a big scale, usually lasting the whole day of liondance performances and blessings.
This year there was a loooooooooooong table of Yee Sang. They generously invited the public to join them lou sang.
Was really festive and happy.

Hot Crush

Bakery from Shanghai
I tell you. I have lived in Shanghai. No bakery in Shanghai tasted this good. This has been modified to suit the Malaysian tastes!!!

The queue! I was first in line. On a week day. 15 mins before the door opened. Look at the line behind me.

Berjaya Times Square - CNY 2026

Berjaya Times Square - CNY 2026

Loveliest decor in a long long time!

Thean Hou Temple

KL’s main temple. Most famous among tourists.
But to me, there’s really nothing much there.

I remember coming here a good 10 years ago but there were more shops than today, more food stalls too… but today the basement where everything was is disappointing, to me.
Lucky they still kept up with putting up the lanterns as those that’s what keeping this temple looking attractive. Wish they do up a nice proper flower garden.

This is the newest pathway!
