Tuaran Mee is one of many type of noodles I love. You can get this is almost every kopitiam in KK. But of course, some are yummy and some are less, depending on your taste buds.
I prefer mine a little damp and full of flavor.
In my recent trip to KK, we had a chance to visit Tuaran. Of course, Tuaran mee was one of our goals. As we arrived a little late in the afternoon, many famous Tuaran mee kopitiams had closed but we found one who stayed open. Lucky us!
Unfortunately, good flavorful Tuaran Mee (based on my standards) cannot be found in Klang Valley yet. Yes, there are a couple of restaurants offering Tuaran Mee but… there’s just something off. Nevertheless, it is not a common dish yet here in KL. Hopefully soon.
