Paella Bar

Paella Bar, Poulsbo

An interesting little Tapas bar. It's a pity I had to drive or else it would be wine and tapas all night long! Still, we managed to try a paella dish and some tapas.

Smoked Trout with Citrus Vinaigrette

Marinated Anchovies with Piquillo Peppers and Fried Artichokes

One of the tastiest tapas I have ever tried!

Smoked Paprika Beef Tenderloin

Seafood Paella

I had high expectations for this dish. It DID NOT make me happy. It was tasteless, at least for me! How can a tapas bar not do a paella right?

Sluy's Poulsbo Bakery

Sluy's Poulsbo Bakery

In 1966, the Sluy family bought over this bakery and named it Sluy's Poulsbo Bakery. Their products are recipes from the Old World; hand crafted and made from scratch.

In 1974, Marion Sluys developed a bread inspired of God's Word:

Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof .... (Ezekial 4:9)

Tulip Town

Tulip  Town

This smaller tulip garden is located just before Roozengaarde. Entrance fee is the same with Roozengaarde. They had notices up saying that they had trouble with recent floodings so I was expecting less in this garden. There were plenty of empty land. Only one large patch of tulips were growing. I didn't understand why the entrance fee was not reduced.

Disappointed!

It was not a short drive for us to come see this place.
