Fortune Dragon

Yong Peng
14 July 2018

We visited this beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful Fortune Dragon statue in a park. Located at Yong Peng, Johor, this dragon is actually an art museum of Chinese history. Standing at about 350 feet, it is currently in the Malaysia Book of Records as the biggest dragon tunnel in Malaysia. Che Ann Khor temple sits right in front of the dragon which clearly signifies prosperity.

Visitors are not allowed to take photos inside the air-conditioned dragon, however, this is the order of paintings when you start walking into the dragon's mouth.

First series of painting: Filial duties of sons and daughters of China; how they protected, served and honored their parents in the olden days.

Second series of paintings: The 10 Chambers of Hell

Then you exit from the dragon's behind!!!!!!

Entrance fee is RM25. Yes, expensive. But, there are impressive art work to be enjoyed and lessons to be reminded or learnt from the paintings.

Well kept garden
Koi ponds
Most conditioned fishes. Once fingers out (even without food) they will swim towards you!
