Sri Shakti Dhevasthanam Bukit Rotan
It was constructed strictly obeying the ancient scriptures such as Vedas, Agamas and Sirpa (architectural) Sastras. This temple is reported to be the only temple in the world which features 51 Shaktis installed within a single space. Its 96 carved pillars depict the 96 universal principles of Hinduism.
Its main entrance features a 18-foot high sculptured granite framework weighing up to 4 tonnes that was sculptured by expert craftsmen from Mahabalipuram, Tamilnadu, India.
It is a pity no photographing is allowed inside the temple but I really would love to see the 51 Shaktis one day.
The day that I decided to dress decent (hahaha) and drive an hour to photograph Sri Shakti, there was a wedding going on. Just my luck! The RELA personnel was kind enough to let me park for a short while to photograph.
But look at this majestic temple. I felt I was back in Hyderabad.
