Restoran May Shaw

Hakka Noodles right in the midst of an industrial area in Puchong. I almosr had a heart attack driving in. How in the world there’s food here? But you know what?
Something else caught my attention instead. Not food!
VOLKSWAGONS!

But the Hakka noodles were DEELICIOUS!!!

Right across the road from the makan place looked like a dumpsite for VWs. There was a long row of unused, abandoned, ruined VWs. And there was a beautiful Morris Minor, from 1960s I’m sure. I peeped inside the Morris, it acts like a store. Hmmmm.
The VWs were such a waste. I could imagine them once as beautiful cars.

Floccus Floccus 福粿

Haiyaaa must be too new and not very experienced!
I walked up and down Jalan Sultan but could not find it. Eventually I called them and they said, “Oh we are just above Fung Wong.” For God’s sake, put lah a small handwritten sign although proper signboard not ready yet.

So I walked back to Fung Wong, grumbling under my breath, and walk up the stairs. Put lah some sign at the stair entrance or on the wall so people know they are on the right track!!! Walked up the stairs baru saw their door on the left… itupun everything in Chinese. Adoiiiiiii

Luckily, food is cute here. My hanger disappeared quite immediately! Plus the waitress was nice and soft spoken.

Samudra Kilang Kek & Roti

Another bread factory in Jinjang!
Just behind the more famous KL Confectionery.
Produces freshly baked bread and cakes, although the variety is not as grand. I’m sure during festivals production is triple.

I visited on a Sunday and there are a steady flow of customers dropping by. Must be regulars.

Was quite confusing to me when I googled Samudra, it came up as Huasin Food. When I read on, Samudra is in Jinjang and Huasin is in Shah Alam. Same umbrella!
