Thean Hou Temple - CNY 2018

Thean Hou Temple was buzzing with excitement on the night of the 24th February - Hokkien New Year - the 9th day of Chinese New Year. Just got to be there in person to see the lanterns. It was simple WOW!

Thean Hou Temple has been famous for its elaborate lantern decorations during the Chinese New Year. It is most breath-taking when you are standing under the roof of red lanterns.

I was wondering how those lanterns reached the top of the poles! Human or Crane?
