I was astonished… this is the 16th Latin American Festival held in KL and I was only last week old to have heard about it!
Apparently it’s usually held at Low Yat Plaza, they blocked the whole road in front of the plaza, which made it a really nice enough spacious space for a giant party. Moreover directly opposite the plaza was a pathway of restaurants, with a roof. Perfect for the vendors of this festival to display and sell their food and liquor.
Also, I have never visited Low Yat Plaza before so this is my chance. Always heard unplesant stories about that place. Maybe it was the old building but this present one was realllllly nice and bright. Better than the gloomy dark digital mall at Section 14 PJ. This plaza has a great food court at the basement, nicely maintained with a good selection of food stalls. I’m impressed.
I came for the performances. But I didn’t have the patience to wait as in between performances there was a DJ who played music for the public to dance. So, only caught a few.
Moreover, the crowd was huge. It was relaxing if you just wanna have a mojito and dance the afternoon away!
Funny story: There were 4 photographers who stopped by me to take photos of my tattoo!!! Only 1 person asked for permission lol. That caught me by surprise!!!

Look at the crowd.
This was just under the roof, not including the front part of the stage!!!
