Putrajaya Open Day 2026

He was videoing a food stall and so I approached his gf. Then waited for him to finish what he was doing to get a photo together. Great people. Lovely to chat with.
We didn’t know what to expect in this open day.
It was impressive!
LOTS going on in 4 days, plus, Putrajaya has plenty of space. I didn’t get to photograph much cos there’s just so much to see and learn, I kinda forgot about my camera!
We saw the marching bands.
We saw the cats competition.
We entered the university section and omg there are SO MANY universities; some I have never heard before.
We saw a book section.
We saw an art section.
We walked through booths and booths of clothing, accessories, skincare, perfumes, souvenirs, hiking gear, etc
We loved the tent where all the ministries set up their booths and another tent for government bodies. I saw the banner for MAHA 2026 at the Ministry of Agriculture booth and got interviewed for that. We visited the Health Ministry booth and chatted with them about banned meds in our country.
We went through the tourism tent; goodness, it so crowded. Everyone is or plans to travel!!!
Lots of workshops too. There’s even barbers and nail salons.
There’s a huge Food Fest street too and a separate tent for Coffee & drinks.
BUT I FORGOT ABOUT THE PETTING ZOO AND THE ELEPHANTS!
I was so angry at myself.
Only realized when I was otw home.
Arrgghhhh!
