Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia

Situated right in the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur, the Islamic Arts Museum is a pure wonder. As a person who loves to explore and learn, I wanted to see this museum for myself and all it has to offer. I loved it!

The bottom of the domes were mesmerizing enough. Lighted up, it was serene to just sit at the bottom and gaze up to them.

The main lobby area called the Inverted Dome Pavillion.
 The grounds of the museum.

Dome roof of the museum. It was under construction so I couldn't go out to take macro shots of the designs. Yet, impressive from afar.

The jewellery collection below (and I didn't even shoot every single piece!)....was just WA-WA-WOOOM!!! My favorite part of the museum. Intriguing to read the history and see for myself each design and the colors...OMG I LOVED THE COLORS!

This was brain-cracking! This is a lucky charm. A little golden duck as big as the tip of my thumb. Do you wear it? Do you keep it with you? How? Where?

Finest collection ever! Gemstones. Gold. My imagination ran the whole time. How do men and women wear these pieces? With what kind of costumes? Color? Shoes? Such luxury.

Ceramics. Outstanding originality. I love the Chinese porcelains with Arabic calligraphy. Unique.
