Gig Harbor

Founded in 1888 as a fishing village.

Have to cross the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (green) with a toll of USD6.25 to reach Gig Harbor.

It is a beautiful city by the bay. Lovely to walk along the main street and visit the quaint boutiques. There are nice restaurants as well but if you visit during peak hours, be ready for a long wait!

This area was the harbor's first downtown in the 1880s.

This store was sold to the Finholm family from Finland in 1935.
