Skagit Valley Tulip Festival 2022 at Roozengaarde
Roozengaarde was established by the Roozen family and the Washington Bulb Co. Inc in 1985. William Roozen emigrated from Holland in 1947 and started a bulb farm. Roozen means 'roses' in Dutch. Haha, not 'tulip'!
This spring, I was so honored to visit the Skagit Valley River 5-acre flower garden. Tulips, of course, are their main bulbs but there are daffodils and other pretty flowers there as well, such as Yellow Crown flower.
There are about 1 million bulbs planted here; 200 different varieties of tulips and daffodials.
Some interesting Tulip names in the garden!
Daffodils
Christmas Holly
Newly grown tulips
Souvenir shop
Grape Hyacinths
