Uncle Botak Flying Noodles

Yong Hua Restaurant at Taman United, Old Klang Road

A humble old, very old, kopitiam that has a few food stalls during the day time snd is a Dai Chow at night. The stalls start work at 7am until 2pm.

One of them is my Uncle Botak!
Who is famous for his Flying Sang Har Meen, where he serves his big freshwater prawn noodles with a pair of chopsticks holding up the noodles in the air.

I first visited Uncle Botak last July but only tried his Sang Har Meen. Yummy and cheap.
Today, I have 2 extra mouths with me so we ordered Sang Har Meen, Fried Chee Cheong Fun and Wat Tan Hor.
All yummy but the gravy of the flying noodles topped them all.

This couple who runs this stall are the friendliest people I’ve met. Being as busy as them, they still talked to me with smiles and laughter. Such great happy vibes. Love them.

This was back in July. Lady boss showed me how to made the noodles stiff by pouring hot oil over them.
She saw me with my phone and said “Come I show you how I do this!”

Today’s visit!
