No. 17 Jalan Jugra, Old Klang Road
Chef J serves authentic farmhouse dishes from Guangzhou. This restaurant, although being so grand, had gone unnoticed by me! Even though it was by the roadside. Guess I wasn’t observant enough.
I was most surprised when we entered the restaurant 10 minutes early, we were urshered to an ac hut. Yayyyyy! The outside dining area is pretty but our humid weather does not make it comfortable for us. So I was most grateful for the table in an ac hut although there was 2 tables in our hut and the other table was occupied. Nice folks, btw. We were lucky.
Their menu was very interesting. Pricey. But, everything looks so exciting and different. Quite challenging to make a decision as we wanted to try them all HAHAHA!
Finally, decided on Claypot rice with char siew and pork lard, Choy sum with minced ginger and the most fun dessert in the world.
Neighbor’s chicken!!!
