On 16 acres of land, the Dong Zen temple is n Jenjarom, Banting is most well-known especially during the Chinese New Year. Local and foreign tourists visit this temple to enjoy the colorful lights. We actually waited until nightfall to see the lights display and they were magnificent.
This annual affair started in 2004 and it has become a signature event during the Chinese New Year. Other than the lights display, there were also lanterns, floral parades and entertainment. Admission is free as the temple welcomes peace and happiness from everyone. Tents of food stalls were set up to cater for hungry visitors but you must be prepared for long queues. Not to mention the toilets too!!!
