Yuyuan Spring Lantern Festival 2021
The lights are on! The illuminations of the lanterns is such a magical sight. You have to walk on the ZigZag bridge to enjoy the colorful lanterns on your left and right, on the lake. It is difficult to stop and take photos as the crowd is horrendous. However, the details of the lanterns are astounding and beautiful. This place is a must-visit-once (at least) for everyone.
The Spring Lantern Festivals in China is to celebrate the 15th day of the lunar Chinese calendar; the last day of Chinese New Year. Here, it is a tradition for families to enjoy lighting, floating, flying and playing with lanterns. As the last day of Chinese New Year is not a public holiday in China, families still try and get together for a meal so as to enjoy Glutinous Rice Balls @ Tangyuan together.
