Disneytown is actually right next to Disneyland.
No tickets needed to enter to this part of 'town'.
We only realized that when we were hunting for The Cheesecake Factory in Disneyland. We had to go through security again to re-enter Disneyland after our cheesecake lunch.
It is great that people can visit this part of town without going to Disneyland. It is really a shopping and dining area which is of the Disney theme.
