Kampung Attap, Kuala Lumpur
Pentago House, 1912
Once owned by Loke Yew, a rich tin miner and merchant in KL.
Today, it is a boutique design consultant agency.
Zhongshan Building, 1950s
Used to be home to families. Today, it is an artsy hub. There's cafes, a library, studios, art and design shops, a stationery shop, a tailor, record shop, printing shop and even a law firm. The only challenge is that for one to visit each shop, one has to climb up and down the narrow staircase!
Tommy le Baker, serves yummy sourdough sandwiches
