Teck Kee Foodstuff Enterprise
Teluk Intan, Perak
I enjoy visiting Teck Kee. The Quah family is one of the most welcoming people I know. Sabrina was the first person I got to know when I first visited this place donkey years ago. They used to have nasi lemak and the famous Teluk Anson chee cheong fun. Nowadays they only serve ‘thong sui’ and kuihs and pastries. Of course, during the Mooncake Festival you will find delicious homemade mooncakes here. For Chinese New Year, they would always have a tent out to sell BBQ meat, cookies, pastries and a row of mixed nuts and keropok.
This post is specially done to commemorate Teck Kee’s new antique museum which is located just next door. Mr. Quah had started collecting ‘other people’s junk’ which he found personally valuable since the age of 18. He enjoys showing his collection and telling stories about them to anyone who is interested. We usually enjoy a bowl of warm red bean soup while listening to his amusing stories!
Chinese New Years … all ready for Rabbit 2023!
