Founded in 1909… WOW… it is 114 years old this year!
Today, it is a modern cafe with a looooooong counter displaying all their homemade pastries and biscuits.
Its trademark in the olden days was producing traditional wedding cakes, and is still doing so, in addition to make other varieties of pastries.
Selangor Grocers Guild
(opposite Fung Wong Biscuits)
Built in 1927 with a Neo Classical design, it represented the interests of grocers, retail traders and sundry shop owners in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor in the 1920s.
Today it is the home of a Asian fusion restaurant named Crane KL.
