Sin Sze Si Ya Temple

This temple is directly opposite the famous Lai Foong kopitiam along Jalan Tun H S Lee. So off this big road, in front of the kopitiam is Lebuh Pudu. You might miss it if you are not observant but now there’s a museum next door. Easier to recognize the location.

Sin Sze Si Ya Temple was built by Kapitan Yap Ah Loy in 1864. That makes it the oldest Taoist temple in Chinatown Kuala Lumpur. This was one of the few remaining historical buildings from Kapitan Yap's time for his beloved city of KL.
