Teluk Intan, September 2024
Just a week before the Mooncake Festival.
This time, we missed our friends at Teck Kee. Stopped by 3x but mysteriously they were closed. Only later in the day we found out they had opened shop late today. Haiyaaa!
This visit to Teluk Intan was mainly to get some mooncakes and homemade biscuits. At the same we visit a Hindu temple, a Chinese temple, the Riverfront and some makan places. All in all, still a good trip.
Sri Gnanananda Puram Temple
Hock Soon Keong Temple, 1845
We unexpectedly had Bak Kut Teh here. We were suppose to visit the Chinese temple which was just across the road, but tummies were growling. Seeing the crowd, we concluded food must be good here. It was!
This Madrasah was built in 1901
Located just before the restaurant.
Didn’t even know Teluk Intan has a Riverfront!!! This is the Perak River. Just a small park to go with it at one end and the other was food stalls.
Stopped by to enjoy Hainan coffee here.
Gotta get mooncakes and biscuits
