I was reading about the Blue Lagoon in
Alor Setar which was supposedly getting famous. There were beautiful photos in Google and there were people swimming in the lagoon and having a good time. Scenery was fabulous too. After a few tries in reaching the lagoon, I found that it was GREEN, not BLUE! It is located in a secluded corner, far into the paddy fields. The narrow roads were bumpy. Still, the place is quite beautiful and serene.
Looks like this is the only hill that one can find around a very flat Alor Setar!
A lone fisherman was quietly fishing. He warned us about how deep the lagoon is.
This is the prettiest part of the paddy fields. How in the world a bed of water lilies are able to grow amidst the paddy is rather fascinating. So pretty.
