Nom Nom in Chiang Rai

When Rachel and I were in Chiang Rai, our driver recommended this lil kopitiam to us for our dinner. According to him, the cooking here is tasty and price is cheap. He was right! We fell in love with the cooking on the first evening and we had dinner there almost every evening before we go back to our B&B.

There is a huge variety of food here. They would put together pretty much anything you want and it would come out delicious.

Morning glory with soya beans and chillies

Crispy beancurd roll with chinese sausages on the side and salted egg in the middle.

 Snowpeas with mushrooms and pork

The chilly that Rachel accidentally bit into and all hell went loose!!!
Crispy fried fish served with mango salad

 Kailan with pork
 Water
One of the best steamed fish I have ever tasted
 Interesting variety of sauces

 Steamed egg with pork
Our favorite dish of all: Cloud ears omelette

Steamed fish served with pork and ginger
 Variety of chilli sauces
That's what happens to a fish at meal time when I attack it!!!
