Lee’s Cocoa

Lee's Cocoa Artisanal Chocolate
Kampung Tanjung Sepat

We were in Tanjung Sepat, just driving around to see what's new. Walked around the market area, which I love, to see what new products the villagers had come up with. All of a sudden, I noticed a small sign board on top of the blue Medan Selera board which states, "Welcome... Handmade Chocolate"

Handmade chocolate? Here? Where?

Walked to the back and we saw a corner shop. It appeared closed at first but we searched for someone who could be manning the shop. Found her. Got her to open the shop for us. She didn't look very happy but she obliged.

We order chocolate drinks for ourselves, ignoring her unfriendliness!

Eventually she began to bring out chocolate testers for us to try. Her explanation on their products were good. To the point and just the facts. I must say she did her marketing job well. She was generous and let us try all (I believe) their products. Yes of course we bought some home. The chocolates are good.

My favorite were the Dark Chocolate covered Coffee beans!

Also found out that Lee's Cocoa has a farm before entering Tanjung Sepat village. He does tours as well. Just gotta make an appointment before appearing in the farm.

These are to die for!!!

So happy to see that these wonderful chocolate products are manufactured in a humble village like Tanjung Sepat.
