Penang Hill Hindu Temple
One of the oldest Hindu temples in Penang. Can you believe this temple started off in the 1800s as a small sanctuary? I am happy to see that it is being expanded and improved over the years. The carvings of deities are amazing. Rich bold colors were used. Devotional statues are beautiful as well.
This temple is most welcoming. No gates. The only 2 rules are to take off one’s shoes when entering the inside of the temple and no photography inside the temple.
