Chocolate Museum KL
Located in Kota Damansara (behind Curve)
It is a small museum but loads of information and history shared. Only thing unsatisfactory was the labels were mostly in BM and not dual language.
It is dark and filled with glass cases which infuriated me because I couldn’t take good photos. Yeah me and glass have a hate relationship especially when I want to photograph so badly. The reflection just kills me.
It has a chocolate shop where I was more amused in watching people shopped til they dropped. It was mind boggling. People really shopped basketfuls. Chocolates were not cheap but I guessed cheaper than outside. Guess it’s a one time thing but you see, the chocolate shop is open daily for public. Anyone is welcome to come shop here any time.
The museum is separated into 2 parts: 1.0 and 2.0
Museum 1.0 is free.
Museum 2.0 cost RM5 per person.
In that little building of 2 museums, there’s:
* History and artifacts
* Lots of info about chocolate and the founders
* Artistic cow figurines
* Chocolate portraits of Dr Mahathir and wife
* Chocolate statues
* 30-foot model train set
* Murals and huge figurines (like M&M) for photography
* Crazy mirrors
* Replica of the KLCC Towers
