Tzu Chi Jing Si

Tzu Chi Jing Si

Not sure how to call this complex but in google there’s

KL Tzu Chi Jing Si Hall
or
Dewan Tzu Chi Jing Si
or
Tzu Chi Foundation

I passed the place so many times. For the life of me, I didn’t know it’s open to the public. I always thought it was some monastery. Then I found out this complex houses a kindergarten, a cafe, exhibitions, photo gallery and event ballrooms.

The Tzu Chi Foundation was founded by a Master Cheng Yen, a Taiwanese Buddhist Nun. She hailed from Hualien, Taiwan. It started off as Buddhist humanitarian organization by 30 housewives and  disciples.

Tzu Chi was brought to Malaysia by Ye Ci Jing in 1989, in Penang.

Then in 1992, a Taiwanese couple set up a factory in Melaka to promote Tzu Chi missions.

Today, they even have their own Tzu Chi International School in Bukit Jalil.

It suddenly dawned on me…
I have seen this book cafe all over Klang Valley but I have never visited one as it was a Chinese bookshop.
This HERE is their HQ!!!

This cafe is most quiet! Library also kalah!!!
