Lime Kiln

Lime Kiln Point State Park

The drive to this lighthouse was so different compared to the Cattle Point lighthouse. The drive to Cattle Point was by the coast. This drive was through a jungle! After a while, I was wondering where's the sea. But this view came up. Beautiful.

A short hike is needed from the parking area but it was a nice one.

Lime Kiln Lighthouse, 1919

Overlooking Dead Man's Bay. Supposedly to be a famous place for Orca watching from land. This lighthouse is still functional; serves as a navigational beacon for ships in the Haro Strait.
