Pride Month in Seattle is full of events. After taking a 2 year break, this year was particularly special and meaningful. Events started on June 4 with Pride in the Park, then Pride Parade on June 26 and Pride Fest after the Parade. Queer Pride Festival runs simultaneously.

The Pride Parade's route was from 4th & Pike and ends at 2nd & Denney. As Seattle is not familiar to me, my guess was the parade would run from 4th street and end around Seattle Center. Pretty long route, which was good, as we stayed in the middle of the route where it was less crowded.

The participants outdid themselves in their costumes. They looked happy, contented, adventurous, confident and in love with their lives. Most importantly, they were with friends and family; great circle of support.
