Day one of Hari Raya 2023 - 22 April
I had decided to drive to Sekinchan to get my mangoes, to eat with my lemang! Hoping and praying the jam only involved inter-state, we took the drive.
To Sekinchan was a breeze, thank God. The town was exceptionally quiet but when we reached Parit 6 road, OMG there were SO MANY cars and people! Good God.
Drove straight up to Mango King to get mangoes, thank God for a park in that jampacked scene. Then I received Azahar’s Raya invite, at Parit 8 road.
I was excited… WOW to get a chance to celebrate Hari Raya in a true kampung house in the middle of paddy fields!
