Around the PJCT Industrial Zone, there is a posh decorated jazz bar & restaurant. Impressive decor. I was quite eager to pay a visit as apparently the roasted pork is one of its special ingredients for many of their dishes. Unique!
Alas, their waitressing staff are not properly trained… to my disappointment…. Yup, in such an ATAS looking place too! When a waiter or waitress served us, they would just dumped the plate on the table without even bothering to ask who ordered that particular dish. So much so that my husband tried to educate a waitress to serve his dish properly!!!
There were only 3 other tables that were occupied and the place is 2 storeys. So, no reason for not rendering proper customer service. Not extremely busy!
In addition, when it was time to pay, we asked for the bill and a waitress came with the credit card machine. She came to our table and I guessed she was trying to guess who was going to pay WITHOUT speaking! We had a good laugh though at her stupid behavior. Of cos we were annoyed but what to do? This is what happens when you pay no attention in staff training and moreover, getting tips as part of their pay is not a culture here, therefore, waiters or waitresses pay no attention in proper customer service.
AND, of cos, the famous roasted pork has finished by 2pm (when we were there)!!! Mind you, this restaurant is supposedly open from 11.30AM all the way to 10PM. I am guessing they replenish their roast pork before dinnertime!
