The museum was very well organized and air conditioned. It featured artifacts, textiles, weaponry ~ equipped with detailed information. No photography allowed inside!
This is the outdoor museum whereby there are supposed to be 5 refurbished old Malay heritage houses.
The latest review I read was 3 months ago so I was expecting a well maintained outdoor museum.
It felt HAUNTED to me!!!
Look at this description of the first house. Nobody bothered to repair it. It was left there just like that.
First house I saw was from Negeri Sembilan,
House of Dato’ Raja Diwangsa Seri Menanti
It was unlocked. There was no No Entry sign.
I went in!
Pitch black!!!
I turned on the switches, nothing worked.
I was actually expecting a nenek kebayan to be sitting at one corner!!!
Slowly walked inside and managed to open a window.
Ahhhh…. Light!!!

Could not see a thing but after editing this photo… hey, is that an antique gramophone on the cupboard?
Okay, leaving the first house
Look at the stairs! Nobody swept. Nobody maintained. Felt like I was entering a jungle.
Doesn’t that look like a haunted house to you?!!!
Under the house
Second House is from Kampung Pendiat, Bota Kanan, Perak,

Third House is from Kampung Tanjung, Terengganu,
House of Haji Wan Muda Haji Wan Hassan
Most interesting house (to me) but it’s locked!

Look at the finely manicured lawn, yet they only maintained this portion. Why? Coz it’s facing the main road?
