We did it!!!
This was our goal for today. To learn making a 2x1.5 inch Nasi Kandar food tray from scratch. Consisted of Rice & Gravy, Mutton & Potatoes, Long beans, Curry leaves, Papadoms and a drink.
Under the supervision and teaching of Eric Siow…. of course!
We took 3 hours to complete our work.
Let’s start!!!
Making the green beans
Knead the dough to make the rice
Gotta put the dough into this gadget and twist it so that noodles magically appear! Kinda like a mini noodle machine.
Noodles (will be cut later on to make rice) and Potatoes. Potatoes were done by Eric days earlier to make sure they are hard enough for us to cut into smaller pieces.
Noodles were snipped off at the edges to make rice
Cutting Potatoes
Making dough for Mutton
Peeling dough off to make Mutton chunks

Making Papadom
