Chin Swee Caves Temple, Genting Highlands

Up, up and away...with Awana Skyway cable car

See the 9-storey pagoda?
On a 28-acre land, 4600 feet above sea level, sits a beautiful Taoist temple which overlooks the Titiwangsa mountains. It was erected in honor of a Buddhist monk named Chin Swee (QingShui), a monk who has long been referred to as a deity in the Fujian Province.

Let's enter the Chambers of Hell...
1st Hell Chamber: The Court of King Qinguang

This court does not execute any punishment. Its task is merely to sort the good from the evil.

2nd Hell Chamber: The Court of King Chujiang

This chamber is for kidnappers, squatters, malpracticing doctors, marriage cheaters, and robbers are to be drowned in the Pool of Defiled Blood.
COW HEAD (Niutou) is one of the figures who will bring a person down to Hell once he or she had died.

HORSE FACE (Mamian) is Cowhead's partner. The 'transporters' from earth to hell.

3rd Hell Chamber: The Court of King Songdi

Here, the ungrateful, the disrespectful, the dishonest and disloyal, escaped prisoners are punished by having their hearts ripped out.

4th Hell Chamber: The Court of King Wuguan

This King appears to be the patron god of all taxmen and business investors. This court is also for those who are not filial to their parents and/or disrespectful to their siblings. Here in this hell chamber, the punishment is to be pounded to bits by a huge mortar.

5th Hell Chamber: The Court of King Yan Luo

This hell chamber deals with the root of mankind's evils: MONEY. Obviously, gamblers, fighters, loan sharks belong here.

6th Hell Chamber: The Court of King Biancheng

This hell is for people who disrespect Buddha and other gods.

7th Hell Chamber: The Court of King TaiShan

This hell deals with people with wicked words, liars, gossipers, and rumor-mongers.

8th Hell Chamber: The Court of King Dushi

The Chinese people place a lot of emphasis on filial piety.  This hell deals with people who have cause trouble for their parents and families.
9th Hell Chamber: The Court of King Pingdeng

This hell is for people who have set out to destroy others like rapists, murderers, and robbers.

10th Hell Chamber: The Court of King LunHui

Punishment ends formally here, in the final court. Souls brought here are considered mostly redeemed and ready for reincarnation. Under the laws of karma, evil doers are reincarnated as animals and beasts. The less guilty will return to earth as humans to suffer tragic lives. Every reincarnation is a part of an everlasting cycle of karma. Every single act is balanced by a consequence.

The famous Taoist Pig God or Zhu Ba Jie. His Buddhist name  Zhu Wu Neng was given by Kuan Yin which means 'pig reincarnated who rises to power'. His nickname Ba Jie means 8 commandments or 8 restraints to remind him of his Buddhist diet!

Pigsy' s story:

He originally held the title of Tianpeng Yuanshuai (Marshall of the Hosts of Heaven), commander-in-chief of 80 000 Heavenly Navy Soldiers. He was later banished because of misbehavior.
Then he saw the beautiful Goddess of the Moon (Chang Er) at a party and harassed her.
The Jade Emperor then banished Pigsy to earth to be reborn as a human.
Unfortunately, he fell into a pig's pen and was reborn as an ugly pig.
Pigsy achieved enlightenment in India during the collection of the Buddha texts. He arrived at Buddhist Heaven, Kuan Yin awarded him the title 'Holy Altar Cleaner'.
The Monkey God @ Sun Wukong

One of the most famous Chinese legends, but a rebellious monkey. Born out of a rock. Fertilized by the grace of Heaven and Earth. Being extremely intelligent, he has learnt all tricks and kungfu skills from a Taoist master. He can transform himself into 72 images, from a tree to an insect, and he can even enter into an enemy's body to fight him from within. He uses the clouds as his vehicle of transport.

He believed he ruled the Heavens, Seas, Earth and the World. He fought into the ocean and seized the Dragon King's crown treasure. He stormed into hell and threatened the Hadean king. The heavens suffered numerous humiliating defeats. He created the biggest havoc when he deleted his name in the Book of Hell.

Finally, Buddha imprisoned the monkey under a great mountain named Mount of Five Fingers for 500 years.
