Selangor Fruits Valley

Over 1000 hectares of land, planted with fruit trees and some vegetables. This is the Selangor Fruits Valley. It was started some 10 years ago but only opened to the public about 2-3 years ago. There are many things for them to improve if they really want this place to prosper.

Entrance fee is RM15 for adult and RM10 for seniors. Tram rides are free. There is a tram ride from the main office to the first stop, which is where the pavillion, shops and cafe are located. From the first stop, one must catch another tram to enjoy the rest of the land.

Unfortunately for now, all announcements are done in Bahasa Malaysia or the Malay Language only. It would be difficult for foreign tourists to understand. Announcements in the tram are unclear so visitors must be observant to the left and right sides in order to catch what kind of fruit trees are being planted there. Signboards are not big enough for people who are travelling on the tram.

I can envision that this place will be beautiful if all fruit trees start to bloom. At the moment, some have just been planted. They have about 20 kind of fruit trees here.

There is also a deer farm, rabbit farm and an old village house. The tram stops at the rabbit farm for photos with rabbits. The trams also stops at the old village house for visitors to enjoy snacks, fruits and fruit juices. Hubs and I had our mango pickles and sour sop juice sitting under the village house!
