A moment lasts all of a second, but the memory lives on forever.
Dad and Mom's 50th wedding anniversary was celebrated in November 2015 at the Oriental Pavilion restaurant in PJ. The get-together was planned but the cake and flowers were a surprise! It was Dad's birthday month too so it was perfect celebration time.
I still remember Agnes and I, at the last minute, tried to get the cake done in 24 hours. In crazy busy Petaling Jaya, it was almost an impossible task. We stopped by a couple of bakeries, no luck; the minute a baker agreed to bake for me, I paid. We managed to get a really nice bouquet of flowers too.

Dinner was perfect. We had our own private room. Loved Oriental Pavillion's cooking as they specialized in Cantonese cuisine but with a modern twist.

It is the most sacred and beautiful of all flowers in Egypt. They bloom in the mud and shine in the darkness like a gift from the gods to remind you that no matter how bad something is, it will get better. That no matter how dark the night, the light will come for you. (Sherrilyn Kenyon)
