Perak - Bagan Datoh - Sunflower Garden

Sunflower Garden entrance.
This garden is located to the right from the fishing village.
This garden was designed for visitors to be able to take loads of photographs.

Passion fruit arch

I was happily sitting in the swing when I suddenly saw this notice.
"Not more than 80kg. Watch out for falling"
I ran away as fast as I could.

Staircase to Heaven?
Well, we are not ready for Heaven yet so we played safe!!!

Plastic flamingoes

This heat was a killer. It was raining when we were at the fishing village during lunchtime. What a change of weather suddenly. I was not complaining as I loved the photos we took but oh my goodness... the heat almost roasted us alive.

There was a door at the back of the garden... unlocked.
We walked through it and walla, a huge Honey Melon farm.
We were unsure whether this farm belonged to the Sunflower garden's owner but the workers there were relaxed when we walked down to the plants and took photos with the melons.

Finished our visit in the farm but quite reluctant to leave. This is really a good-sized garden.
On our way out of the farm, there is a small nursery and stalls selling ice-cream, snacks and drinks.

Gloxinia

We were grateful for the sunshine. After all, it was a long drive for us from KL.
