Kain Telepuk
The most glamorous and rich Malay textile, worn only by royalty and noble families, since the 17th century. In history, the Telepuk textile was practiced since the first Sultan of Selangor.

The Telepuk is a traditional technique whereby woven fabric is gilded with gold leaves. The design patterns on the Telepuk are called Frieze patterns. Frieze patterns or border patterns are designs that repeat in one direction.
