THAIPUSAM
The festivities had started last Saturday but decided to come on tis actual day.
Crazy jam though but I had a grand masterplan. Take Grab. Don’t even want stress driving and worry about parking.
Grab driver to Batu Caves was fine, a lil grumpy about the jam, more worried about not getting to send us to the main entrance but I said no problem, just leave us by the road that goes down to Batu Caves.
Flabbergasted to see cars parked by the highway and in the middle of the roads. Later on, I didn’t dare to see the stretch of double parking.
Breakfast
Nasi Lemak RM5. Cold coconut RM7
Was trying to look for my Uncle Apam, couldn’t find him. Gotta come back on a normal weekday to search for him!
On our way out of Batu Caves, TV3 and 8TV journalists got hold of us and interviewed us about why we chose to come and celebrate Thaipusam today.
