Kek Lok Si on CNY 2024
CNY Lighting is for a month until 8 March 2024, from 7.30PM to 12 Midnight.
We were up here on 22 February 2024. Got up from before sunset, waited for sunset, and lights came on at 7.30PM sharp. We stayed for about an hour then walked back to DeView Hotel.
By this time, the jam towards the temple was horrific. Glad we could reach the hotel by foot.
Went all the way up by lift and buggy. This is the first time I sat on the buggy!!! The lift…omg… they need new ones, you know, those that shoot straight to the sky like a bullet. These ones felt like they were going to break down any moment because of people’s weight.
