Nasi Kerabu Antarabangsa
Jalan Kampung Pasir, Pantai Dalam
Where the heck is Pantai Dalam?
Aiyo, very near. It’s the residence area before Old Klang Road. Meaning when I turn out from Pantai Dalam, I hit Old Klang Road already. Wow, a Malay village in there. And a long row of food stalls. And crazy area to find a park.
My foodie friends kept telling me this nasi kerabu is great. Authentic. Delicious. All that. How in the world can I reach there by 7AM? If I don’t have driving chores, I’d would be the first when they open. Arrgghhhhh!
So today I thought I’d try. Just try and see what’s the remaining dishes when I reach there! I managed to reach that area just before 9am. Today was exceptionally jammed up on the highways. Dunno why. I was lucky to find a slot to park my car for a bit while I walked to the stall.
My heart sank. There were a few people before me. The pots were empty! There were still fried chicken. There’s hope!
My turn came. I ordered 3 Nasi Kerabu. Yes! Still have! Took away 6 pieces of chicken too cos they started frying fresh ones.
What is Nasi Kerabu?
Nasi Kerabu (Herb salad rice)... comes with
Ayam Goreng Berempah (Spiced fried chicken)
Telur Masin (Salted Egg)
Solok Lada (Stuffed chili with fish paste and coconut)
Sambal Kelapa Ikan (Roasted grated coconut with fish floss)
Sambal Tumis (Spicy chili paste)
Sambal Budu (Fermented fish sauce)
Look at the empty pots! At 9AM!!!
