Gaotai Ancient Homes
Located across the road from the Kashgar Old Town. One of the oldest Uyghur homes and there are still people living there with their little businesses; their crafts.
I initially thought it was just ruins of old homes but I was so wrong. Such an interesting place to visit and entrance is free. Every special colorful door belongs to a little business as well as a home. There are easily more than 20 little shops in there.

This part of Gaotai is the ruins of the ancient homes. A pretty large part. Looked like they are preserving it the way it was, as much as they can.
