Tuyugou Village
Tuyoq Village
Tuyugou Mazha Village
Oldest existing Uyghur village in Xinjiang. I believe nobody knows exactly how old this village but it is safe to say it is well over 1000 years. It is an ancient oasis Uyghur village in the Taklamakan desert, 70km east of Turpan, where people still live in mud houses.

Here we go to see the real Tuyugou Village!
We entered a family house. Mom was cutting veggies on the bed. 3 daughters. The middle daughter, May, excitedly tried to speak to me in English. Very good effort.
I gave her RM20 note for a souvenir. She was so happy. Explained to her all the pictures on our Ringgit. She didn’t believe it was real money!!! So cute.

This is May. 12 years old. A smart Uyghur young lady.
