Petronas Twin Towers

I went fot it!
Had to personally go get the ticket and choose my date of visit, which was a pain because had to purposefully drive to Suria KLCC. That part of KL is not friendly to drive. Anyhow, nothing is really free. Either you want it or don’t!
At least I found out that it was an easy walk from Suria KLCC to the Twin Towers lounge.

I had delayed going up to the towers for a visit because I thought it was quite silly to pay RM35 to go see the view and come down. I found that it is better to go on a clear sunny day to get your ticket but most may be sold out. If you pre book your ticket, you might end up with a hazy day.

Our day yesterday was not super clear. It was cloudy gloomy and only the nearby parts could be seen. It was acceptable I guess; can’t have it perfect!

These were the levels we were taken to. I must say it was a well organized tour. We were in groups based on sticker color. 20 people in a group.

Our tour started at 11AM. We were first taken to the Skybridge at 41st floor and given 15 mins. Then to 83rd floor to change to a smaller lift and straight up to 86th floor. We were given more time at the top. Then last 10 mins were taken back to 83rd floor as there were coffee stands and gift stands there.

You can get your photos there with a nice frame for RM200. What they don’t tell you was that you can get your pictures downstairs with a cardboard frame and digital form for RM75!!!

The tour was only 45 mins long. Lastly, we we taken down straight to the gift shop.

Skybridge at 41st floor.
Not as scary as I thought it would be. Maybe we were in an enclosed bridge. Komtar in Penang was more fun!

Up up and away to 86th floor!
